Mobile Earthing

SABO Mobile Earthing Electrode is the new generation portable earthing device, which can be used by any mobile equipment. Mobile Earthing Electrode provides a quick and efficient solution to low resistance earthing requirements of Telecommunication, electronic and electrical equipment. Mobile Earthing Electrode effectively protects sensitive equipment by safely conducting harmful VHF, harmonics, surges, spikes, unbalances and short circuit currents into ground mass. It can be installed vertically or horizontally as per site conditions and convenience. The Mobile Earthing Electrode can also be used as earth for Lightning protection. However, for ESE LPS the code stipulates three earth pits connected in star or delta, which has to be followed.

Earthing is the grounding or fastening electrical installations to earth. In electricity supply systems, an earthing system defines the electrical potential of the conductors relative to that of the Earth's conductive surface.If proper earthing of any electrical equipment is not available then it may result to failure of the equipment as well as causes danger to human life in case got in contact during flow of fault currents. Maximum short circuit current that is possible in any electrical circuit depends upon the transformer capacity and type of load which may come in thousands of amperes. Short circuit capacity of 1000KVA transformer is 20922A or 21KA. However, few ampere current is sufficient for loss of human life. Hence, good and permanent efficient earthing is required for safe discharge of fault currents.
